Building a log home takes more than just logs! Below are some of the basic steps you should be considering as you go through the process:

1. Understand your budget
   get pre-qualified with a lender
2. Begin the search for land
   Setting, size, cost; any restrictions
3. Determine your needs and wants, such as
   log profile, species, building system, house size
4. Select a design, such as
   chalet, ranch, cape, gambrel; standard or custom
5. Choose a builder
   look for experience, references
6. Purchase log home package
   Hint: make it the Original Lincoln Logs
7. Build your log home
   be sure your dealer will still be around to help
8. Move in and live your dream
   throw a party, or just kick back and relax!
